How to Install phpMyAdmin on CentOS 7

1. Install the EPEL Repository

# sudo yum install epel-release

4. Install phpMyAdmin on CentOS 7

# sudo yum install phpmyadmin

5. Configure the phpMyAdmin.conf File

# vim /etc/httpd/conf.d/phpMyAdmin.conf

Here you will see four different require ip strings matched with long IPs. The default value is Replace that value with the IP of the machine you will be using to access phpMyAdmin.

AddDefaultCharset UTF-8

# Apache 2.4

#Require ip
#Require ip::1
Require all granted

# Apache 2.2
Order Deny, Allow
Deny from All
Allow from
Allow from::1

Require all granted

6. Restart the Apache Web Server

# systemctl restart httpd
